A Night in the Sahara Desert
Our interpreter in the camps near Tindouf, Algeria.
The best memory I have of this trip is sleeping out on the sand under the stars of the Sahara Desert. Several of us got up in the middle of the night and just stood there gazing at the immense sky, marveling at how much the desert sand looked like snow in the moonlight.
