Qatar with Sheikh Ali

As the sun set we were seated on cushions set into a viewing platform and were treated to a display of quite a number of beautiful Arabian horses at the royal stable near Doha, Qatar in the Persian Gulf.

Deep in the desert with a Qatarese man and his short-haired salukis. Originating in Egypt, Salukis are thought to be the oldest breed in the world - the only dog an ancient Arab would allow in his tent. While others were focused on the baby camel's, I was getting to be chums with these two very cool doggies.
